  • You will, unfortunately, be forced to choose a side in the issue. Relationships usually break up rather badly and everybody associated with the partners in break-up mode are directly and indirectly affected. I'm sorry this is one of the unfortunate truths of life. Unless you are in the position where losing your best friend. Or if your best friend is one of the 0.001 % of the population who can do a break-up nicely. I hate it when my friends break up, through the years I adopted the policy that I will not be moved to pick a side, this usually ends up in the loss of friends.
  • If your friend is really a friend, she should understand that you need a place to live. I would try and stay mutual. You might hear things from both sides, but stay mutual. Don't comment negativly on anything they say, bite your toung, because if they get back together, you will be the one talked about by them. It's alway's calm after the storm.
