If you are on it legally, when you go in to take a drug test, they usually have a questionnaire asking what you are on. List it. There are tests that will break down to see what EXACTLY is in your system.
  • It will show up. If you are taking it legally with a prescription or had an injection you have to tell the people administering the test. Depending on the test they give, they can tell you exactly the brand of drug you are on.
  • Meperidine will not show up on most drug panels...your company would have to run an extended panel. You do NOT provide your Rx information at the collection site (where you give your urine)...that's per HIPPA. The reason being, you maybe divulging information you don't need to...most companies run a very limited drug panel. I run Medical Review division and we review drug tests. If you test positive for a drug a Medical Review Office will contact you (or attempt to based on the phone number you provide on the chain of custody)and will then verify your Rx with your physician or pharmacy.
