Why do some people eat plastic/rubber?

Thats crazy..Who eats plastic or rubber? Except for those who rush to eat their candy before they pull off all the plastic it may be in.

Very young children might try these as they will put various things in their mouth. I might also speculate: Perhaps pregnant women might because they have cravings for odd things,I would have thought it was quite unusual though. Perhaps someone who is lacking something else in their diet might try to eat those things,unusual again. The last option is some people will do anything in the name of 'fun'!

I don't know. I used to chew on the eraser on the end of my pencils but I stopped that before my teens. That's the only thing I can think of like plastic or rubber.

Plastic and rubber is made of carbon.....People are carbon based.....food is carbon based. It makes PERFECT, INDESPUTABLE, AND LOGICAL sense to eat plastic and rubber. Case closed.
