  • I have a Sony sw55 i really like
  • Pentax. I have one of these cameras and really like it. I would recommend this company to anyone. http://www.pentax.ca/digital/index.php
  • I'm seriously looking for something lighter, but not so small that it gets lost in my huge hands. I like the Panasonic Lumex DMC-FZ8K with the Leica DC Vario-Elmarit Lens. The lens is not changeable, but if I have to get stuck with one lens, then Leica is the one I want to get stuck with. It's about $300
  • My dad has a Nikon that he is very happy with. I had a Sony Cybershot and it sucked...so don't get one of those!
  • I have Canon's and Minolta's, but I prefer my Panasonic Lumix FZ8 to all of them, Check it out possible, 72X zoom.Image stabiliser, and great auto mode, perfect for beginner, and experienced photographer, now includes Raw files full manual control, Leica lens, and more spec than you could shake a stick at, and at around £200.00, an absolute steal.
  • I'd either go for the brand Canon or Olympus. Canon Powershots are awesome and have high megapixel numbers. 7.1-10. Olympus' started of being cheap and bad, they gradually got better though.
