Probably because they buy into the whole stereo-type of all Asian women being petite, slender, subservient and crazy about white males.

I think because they're generally small of stature and submissive to their men. Here's the flip side - why aren't white women generally attracted to Asian men?

A friend of mine from the States also indicated that he prefers Asian women. His reasoning is that they stay looking younger longer and tend to be more feminine the women in the US. Asian women do not act sexy, as a matter of fact, many Japanese girls walk pigeon-toed. However, of the Japanese women I know that have married non-Japanese men, especially US males, they would be considered too dominating or aggressive for Japanese men. BTW, in Japan, it's the woman that rules the household. The men only look dominating outside for appearance sake.

There are people who like certain things. Some people like larger girls, some people like asian women, some people only like white women. Some people like feet, and others like hair. It's all just a matter of what people like, and what "does it" for them.

That is a huge generalization. ALL white men aren't attracted to Asian women. Hell, a lot of white men aren't even attracted to women at all. All sorts of people like all sorts of things...you wont know why unless you ask them, and a lot of the time THEY wont even know why. Just be happy your friend is finding people to like.

I have no idea, other than the fact that I personally find asain women more sexually attractive than women of other colors. Probably because 90% of asain women look more fragile/'girly' than most women in america. (as per the culture there, unlike the culture in the USA)

That's the strangest trend out there, including my roommate. It might be out of admiration for the East, but also because these women make easier wives to live with. One white man was talking down on white women saying "The screwing you're getting ain't worth the screwing you're getting."

I hate generalizations. I am a white male who has dated other white females as well as hispanic but never Asian I would not rule it out if I met the right Asian girlHowever your quesation makes it sound like white men prefer asian women or something. That may be true of some white men but not all white men are into asian women That would be like me saying all white girls only date black men. While it is true that a large majority of the white females I know personally prefer black men. It does not mean the majority of white women prefer them as a whole. So when making a statement like this in the future be careful about making generalizations like that.

I need to be attracted to their looks as well as their personally. Everyone has a different idea of what they want, not the same as pictured in magazines. I don't like tall men cause I like same eye contact level. My ex did not like himself cause he was very thin,but I had no problem. Others would think he was sick but it's just how he was built. Being overweight is not always the issue. He didn't like his voice either. He carried more feminie qualities.

I believe that some of those guys for some reason think some asian women are docile. A typical stereotype perpetuated by those same guys.

There are men who are attracted to Asian women because they are. It's just a preference, really. I have had two white boyfriends and I am white, so what you're saying is not entirely true.

Asian women have the best and biggest eyes!!! oh, and the way they smile drives me wild! but the real point can also be that they are more polite and know how to take better care of a man than most culture's women do. or, maybe the fact that all of them are cute. Seriously, I haven't seen very many bad looking asian women, maybe one in a million. (I think it's because they are almost all skinny, no joking, this is true.)

Well, I'm not as attracted to Asian women as I am to white women, but I do know a lot of men who found that white women were more likely to treat their men poorly than Asian women. I've met more than one who said something like "and I just went and gave up on white girls since I couldn't find one that wasn't a gold-digger/bitch/primadonna/whatever". They ended up marrying Asian or Hispanic women, generally. I've found things to be that way as well. I think it's that people born in North America tend to be really materialistic, no matter what their colour is. Just so happens that a lot of them are white and half of them are women, naturally. So yes, a lot of white men in N. America are tired of getting treated like crap by their girlfriends. For some of them, the best solution is to date outside their ethnic group and find a woman who treats them nicely. Me, I'm dating a Quebecois girl and the difference over the average girl from Alberta is really quite stark.

I can speak for the attraction of women from cultures that can understand and appreciate Western Chivalry. Yes, I meant to imply that *you* neither understand nor appreciate Western Chivalry. In Western society, women have scant information on Chivalry and what they get is biased towards rejecting it. Asian traditional behavior isn't that far out of tune with it. I am impressed with the basic values that Asian populations hold .... for instance ..... beauty in a simple form....I wondered why I have seen wm/aw combinations....sometimes .... It seems that western women have developed a culture among themselvs that makes them unappealing in terms of attraction. The wierd thing is that they don't seem to realize this. I hear them talk as if it is the man who is at fault. Asian women tend to monitor their own behavior better. They seem to look more inwardly if they see a problem in the relationship.
