You make them draw a love heart on a contract, as opposed to signing their name.

You can not. Some people are not capable of unconditional love. I'm sure you have heard that you can not love someone else, unless you love yourself. This is one of thise cases, if they do not love themselves that will not understand how to love others without conditions.

You love them unconditionally. Let him/her learn by your actions. They will see people beginning to bend over backwards for you, and him/her will want what you got.

Easy, by example! I teach my children to love God, Everything and Everyone unconditionally, all day and everyday!

love comes from inside. you can t teach it you can t even control it! It sucks when you love someone and they don t love you, but, if its there, its there, if its not, then its NOT, we have no real control who we love and can not make or teach "love", WITH OUR ACTIONS WE CAN TEACH how TO LOVE , BUT YOU CANT TEACH SOMEONE "TO" LOVE;(

Be a model of inconditional love, it is the best way. And show them some other models.
