Do you believe that all the God’s portrayed in religion (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc.) are really the same God, but that he presents himself in a context that is understandable and relatable to the person? Or is there really only ONE true God?

I believe that god is a manmade concept, and that all religious representations of "God" share the exact same level of reality, which is to say, none.

So it isn't so much that god represents itself differently to different people, as it is that different people develope different interperetations of the universal concept of "God" for themselves based upon their environment and the unique makeup of their psyches.

    Holy Qur'an

(2:91) And when it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah has revealed," they say, "We believe [only] in what was revealed to us." And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?"

(3:3) He has sent down upon you, [O Muْammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.

(46:30)They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path.

(61:6) And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Aْmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic."

3(81:85) And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [ Allah ] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
And whoever turned away after that - they were the defiantly disobedient. So is it other than the religion of Allah they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?
Say, "We have believed in Allah and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him."
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.

I must keep my answer simple(I love questions like these)! I think people experience more or less the same levels of consciousness, though filtered through their individual make up, temperament, whether psychological/social/cultural, using these as the interpreting elements. We're quite a young species; who knows what the future holds for us.

No I don't believe it; I believe that man has portrayed god in different ways based on their own ideas throughout the ages. Most of them simply plagiarized from the previous religion while altering a few things in the name of "new" revelations.

I believe that there is one true godhead and that no one in an earthly incarnation knows what its ultimate nature truly is. All of the deities in all of the religions, from the most ancient to the most modern try to express what God is, and all of them express only a glimmer, a spark of what it is, if even that much.

In the 15th century the Roman Catholic theologian, scientist, mystic and cardinal, Nicholas of Cusa, wrote: "Humanity will find that it is not a diversity of creeds, but the very same creed which is everywhere proposed….Even though you are designated in terms of different religions, yet you presuppose in all this diversity one religion which you call wisdom."

Matthew Fox (formerly a Roman Catholic priest of the Dominican Order, now an Anglican priest) quotes the great 14th century Christian mystic Meister Eckhart who said: "Divinity is an Underground river that no one can stop and no one can dam up."

Fox then goes on to say: "There is one underground river— but there are many wells into that river: an African well, a Taoist well, a Buddhist well, a Jewish well, a Muslim well, a goddess well, a Christian well, and aboriginal wells. Many wells but one river. To go down a well is to practice a tradition but we would make a grave mistake (an idolatrous one) if we confused the well itself with the flowing waters of the underground river."

That, to me, says it in a nutshell.

I can't say I do cause I have no proof but I do believe something is pulling the strings behind this world so there has to be one being/mechanism that takes priority in the universe above all else or it'd collapse.

Yeah we all talk about the same God. We just call God in different names, one reason is because some holy books are translated to many different languanges.

I believe there is only one true God, but that different religions interpret him differently. Things like the King James Version of Bible, is King James Version, not Gods; etc

Either there is one God, or more than one, or there are none. The God described in the Bible has certain characteristics that identify him, one of which is that He is so great that there can't possibly be two of Him. (Two almighties, everlasting, omniscient, omnipotent, outside of and creator of the universe but who nevertheless fills it? C'mon!) He also has definite attributes, such as being a Trinity, and having names and titles which He gives Himself.

Anything called God that does not have those names, titles, attributes and characteristics is defined by the Bible as being a false god, something made by the imagination of men. However, the poet John Milton was probably right when he said that each false god is probably animated by a particular devil in hell. Not to pick on any existing religion because there are so much better reasons to get killed than posting something on Answerbag, consider the war-god Mars. He delighted in unprovoked aggression and the blood spilled on battlefields was a sacrifice to him and the screams of the wounded were music to his ears. Is it not obvious that this was a devil, and no god at all? I don't know what that particular devil is doing these days, but it's safe to say that for centuries he went by the name of Mars and used whatever power demons have to inspire his devotees.

There is only One True God. The god's of different religions don't have much in common and the attributes are vastly different. It is a popular thought that we need to be accepting of everyone's faith and that they are basically all the same; but, that's just not true. Accepting of all faiths will not solve the world's problems and not accepting them isn't the cause of the world's problems. It is the intolerant acts of individuals that causes problems. Until we take responsibility for ourselves and take care of all the people in this world there will be troubles and strifes. We can never justify one people having too much while there are those who don't have enough. The haves are hated by the have nots for having no matter what their faith or lack of faith may be. The have nots are disdained by the haves no matter what they may or may not believe. It is up to us to make a positive difference in people's lives no matter what who they believe God is; but, that does not make their beliefs true.

There is only one GOD. And it should be like that. t lies within you as omnipresent, omnipotent and formless. It's all visualizations of God by humans we see today.

Relgions make people think in blocks and work towards making them believe in whatever they visualize. A smart human being should be able to figure out this easily and free himself from the clutches of these business men who sell reliigon and God to make money and power over people.
