  • for her divorce settlement? no. For alimony possibly he/she would have to file a claim to show why they deserve more (I guess this depends where you are). But the increased money might also give you a stronger case to win sole custody...
  • If you owe her money resulting from the divorce decree (back child support, property settlement, etc.), she could make a garnishment claim against your winnings for the amount owed. Without such a pre-existing obligation, she would not be entitled to any amounts simply by being your ex-spouse, however.
  • Nope. But it could make your child support go up. And by law in some states you have to report it so that the child can get a share. No kids, no worries.
