  • You may have an infection that requires an antibiotic. Otherwise I like Claritin and Clarintin D.
  • definetly motrin or ibuprofen, an anti inflammatory, and steaming. boil a pot of hot water and (while boiling) place your head above it with a towel over your head. This will "loosen" the mucus and releive the pressure in your head and nasal passages.
  • Well, first off, tomarrow morning make an appointment with your doctor. My friend thought she had allergies and it turned ou to be a sever sinus infection and strepp throat all rolled into one. But for now you should take some motrin or tylenol for sinus, which ever you can tolerate best. Drink hot tea with honey and lemon to open the sinuses and sooth the throat. Gargel with salt water and take a nice long hot sit in the bathroom with lots of steam and the door closed. Or lean over a bowl of hot wather with mentol drops in it. And eat lots of soft foods like chicken soup and jello. And go to bed. No work for you tomarrow.
  • Any sinus pain that doesn't go away needs to be looked at. But... If there is a sinus cleans called Sinucleans, I personally like the bottle all it is, is a saline solution (salt and warm water) that you squirt up into each side of your nose... This will sound gross but it makes gunk come out through the other nasal. It also gets into the back of your throat and you will feel it clearing out the ears... It is a really good solution to sinus problems. You can purchase it over the counter at any pharmacy and just about all grocers, or the internet.
