I have the same problem like you do, but the noise come and go when I slow down and step on the brakes. After
visits to 2 different shops, I brought it to a Honda dealer They recommend changing the front brakes and the rotors.
I haven't done the repair yet because of cost issues.

check to see that there is nothing stuck in the tires... i noticed a noise coming from the van i was driving the other day... just a rock stuck in the tires... i'm not sure i'm understanding your noice correctly though

You're reading I own a 1999 honda civic(1.6L). The car makes a tuk tuk sound(sounds like something rotating in the front) when i slow down the car.what could be the problem? Is it so serious that I need to take it to a mechanic?
