Sneaking into general usage is the slang word "chav", which also means "kev" (another slang), which in turn means "townie" (YET more slang)... Basically a chav is somebody who dresses in sportswear, wears a Burberry cap at all times, even in doors, hangs around inappropriate places all day, drives a souped up Vauxhall Nova, and is generally a prat. www.chavscum.co.uk is a hearty tribute to all the Chavs of inner-city England - you can even find a guide on how to Spot A Chav on the very same site. :)

It's not quite Oxford English Dictionary-worthy... Yet.

And "shiv" for a stabbing blade, particularly one converted from something else, American and I thought British, but it's unknown to the OED.

Not to my knowledge. So far as I can tell, words ending in a "v" sound actually end in either an "e" (such as love) or an "f" (such as of).

Wait a minute: there is one more: Topov (the monkey form the now-defunct children's programme Pipkins), but as far as I know proper nouns do not count.
