Should I be concerned that my little sister, (9th grade) is wearing thongs to school? Perhaps I'm just a protective big brother?

Why are you looking at your sisters underwear??? No she just wants to be grown up I don't get the whole black underwear and thong thing anyways. I wear a thong because I think they are more comfortable honestly and maybe she does too. and really what are you going to do about it.

A lot of girls are wearing them these days because for many it's comfortable and also it eliminates panty lines.

Leave the parenting to your parents. Neither your sister or your parents will appreciate your input. Your can give her your opinion but don't get too involved.

It is pretty common for women to wear thongs. Some women find them more comfortable than regular underwear. If that is all she is doing then don't be concerned. If she is showing other signs that she is doing things she shouldn't then I would ask her about it. Don't be accusatory or parent like because she will not see you as a concerned brother but an over protective bully.

Honestly, I don't feel that a 9th grader should be wearing thongs period. To school or otherwise.

If its really bugging you, Find yourself 'accedently finding some in front of her. wave it her disaprovingly and say your to young, or whatever, throw it at her then walk off.... and say no mre about it...?

Honestly, who cares? It's her life. She's going to do what shes going to do. There's nothing you can do to change that.

i see where ur coming from. youre a concerned big brother and always will be.....unfortch thongs are thongs and shes gunna wear them no matter what you say. she may just be wearing them so u dont see her pantyline, or cuzher friends do, but i think the real issue here is you dont want others to view your sister in a sexual way. if shes wearing it in a 'look at my thong " kind of way you might want to talk to her about what kind of guy that will attract. if you just saw it in the laundry or whatever, then dont worry about it.

you are her brother, not her daddy... if your parents either purchase or allow her to buy her own undies, it should not concern you.
