Keeping "girl on girl action" aside, it's quite acceptable to see girls greet each other in meeting or parting with a hug and a kiss. Two close male friends lightly embracing when they greet each other is "somewhat acceptable", but exchanging a kiss is just not "nice". Maybe it's just me, but that's my opinion.

That is a difficult one. Middle-aged women such as myself grew up thinking such activities were not becoming for men, but young women seem to be more open to it.
