Maybe you should reevaluate the criteria set when choosing boyfriends. There are a lot of honest people out there; maybe it's that you're picking the wrong people.

Why would you say boyfriend when he is not honest. Honesty is the best policy and I would not be with someone that cannot be honest.

To be somewhat generous to your boyfriend, he grew up in a popular culture that glorifies men treating women as "conquests" to be used for selfish (usually sexual) purposes. Hence, he was probably not adequately taught that respect, honor, honesty and trust are essential in these sorts of relationships. You should make it clear to him that honesty is a non-negotiable requirement and if he's not willing to change his ways you will dump him. Then be prepared to dump him.....:-P.... Good luck

Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable admitting things to you because he doesn't know how you would react.

I learned through lots trial and error that women in general cannot handle honesty. They want to be catered to and live in their fantasy worlds which men are supposed to create and maintain by mind reading. Are you real sure you want to know the truth? If so ask me because I have absolutely no problem with destroying illusions.
