Help answer this question below.
Pick them up and look after them. Any animals left abandoned to die or unable to fend for itself I would immediately take ownership without consulting the authorities and do what is best for the welfare of the animals.
It is worth remembering that unwanted puppies sometimes end up in vivisection labs as guinea pigs in barbaric experiments. Hence dont tell the authorities.
i'd adopt them :3
I have, and kitties. They all come to my house. I wouldn't be able to eat or sleep if I left them. Just got an abandoned kitten a few months ago. My sister has her now. LOVE our furry friends!
I pick them up, bring them home and try to find homes for them or take them to the local shelter. (it does not kill animals)
I would stop and pick them up and take them to the police station. The animal shelter's are far away from me. I would have a baby with me so I would feel safe taking them to the police.
Take them all home and love them to pieces! Well also call the humain society to see if they had been lost or and reports on them and then look after them until good homes can be found for them. I am a huge animal lover as in "I love them the apropriate amount"... yes a friends quote, I'm horible!
Pick up the box and take it home.
They go home with me, and then I take them to the No-Kill shelter.
take them and give them a good home!! :)
take them home
In China, snack for a week.
Take them to work and find them homes. We did this with kittens we found just this past spring.
Lift them up and bring them home, i love puppies dogs and all animals :)
i would pck up the box and bring it home,if i wasnt allowed to have them id find them a home.i cant see animals abandoned like this.
Take them home with me.
Ammunition for the War Against God.
Hug them! Hug them all! Then give them away to good homes (if you can after all those hugs).
Pick them up and take them to an animal shelter.
under any circumstances i would have to take them home and then i'd start asking people taht i trust if they wanted to have some
puppies
So many possibilities, so few puppies. Lol.
Kill them humanely if their cute, kill them inhumanely if their not. If they are untouchably unfathomably ugly, then just leave 'em there.
My first instinct would be to take them home but with a litter of puppies i wouldnt be experienced enough to feed them all,so i would get in touch with the RSPCA who are better equip than me to look after a whole litter mind you i would pick one to keep when they were ready to be homed out.
If I am walking, I go get my car and pick them up. I would take them to the vet to make sure they are healthy, and then...... have a snuggle fest!!! Yay!
Well, you wouldlook after them....wouldn't you?! If you found a baby on the side of the road would you leave it? ITS THE SAME THING!!!
Call the SPCA...
Have puppy stew for dinner....
Pick them up, drive to the nearest Walmart, park outside the parking lot somewhere, and make a sign that says "puppies for sale".
Take them and love on 'em! Then raise about six dogs...good thing I have a King Sized bed!
take them and give them to friends or to a shelter
take them home
Pick them up and take care of it..you cant just leave them there for death..to young to defend themselfs and have no ability to get hold off any food...
pick it up and take it home with me
take them home to care for them untill i could find them a new good home.
Take them back home, feed them, and put up a sign out front to let everyone know I have free puppies.
i take the box of puppies to my house and i put an add in the paper for adoption...i will take them to a vet first before i do that
SCOOP UP THE BOX OF JOY AND TAKE IT HOME FOR A FLEA BATH AND A GOOD MEAL would then go about re homing and such to make sure they got a good life !!!
Funny we will take dogs home but a homeless person we step over
FIRE FIRE !!!
Tell the homeless man nearby that he gets to eat today.
I'd take them home and warm them up. Feed them and start calling on the phone for people that might want to help foster these little guys with me
Take them home, add them to my other 6, and find them a home later if I'm not too attached.
take them home and love them all
i would adopt them :3
I was with my friend one time, we were messing around outside and we stopped and sat down next to this truck. We heard a cat meewing. We figured it was in the truck and we started looking under the car for it. It was a little tiny kitten, and it was stuck. We spent about 3 hours getting it out. We got the lady who owned the truck and she popped the lid for us and we eventually got it out. I kept the cat and named it Hadie. It was a mean little kitty, and eventually it ran away. =[
walk on past them, trying not to notice them! one dog is bad enough for me! you cant say that is mean, becasue i know there are millions of other people who will come along just after me (obvioulsly) that are willing to take home such cute things!
I would take them home and then it they were teething i would get baby keys 4 them 2 chew on but if they were 2 little and still drank milk i would try and get my dog sandy 2 nurse them.( she had a litter 2 weeks ago) i would put them on a bed with a hotwater bottle under and a clock that ticks.( so they feel like momies with them) then i would raise them and find VERY good homes 4 them. but i would probobly keep 2 or 3.

Take them home with me and try to find someone who would like to adopt them and keep one for sure.
Pick them up and make a quick trip to the Humane Society.
I would first take them to a veterinarian. Keep one for myself then take the rest to the animal shelter.
pick them up, take them to a non-kill animal shelter and keep 2 of them.

You're reading You see an abandoned litter of puppies in a cardboard box on a pavement. What do you do?

Do you have any evidence for your claim of "barbaric experiments?" Sounds like a PETA tale to me . . . .
Of course I would notify the authorities. But then again, I live in a city with "no-euthenasia" shelters, so I know nothing bad would happen to them.
+1 anyway :o)

Riiiiight .. we have them here to but that does not mean they are not put down. Look into the matter and you will be surprised. Yes, there are barbaric experimenting being done. Research will show you this.
by Snooch on March 6th, 2008
Again, I asked for evidence, like a link or a citation. The lack of it proves my point.

Wouldn't the lack of evidence neither prove nor disprove a point?
As for evidence, see the following link, which states that 49 states permit the use of some pound animals in research. The cite quoted from is not one of those PETA-type groups which oversensationalize everything animal-related. It is from the Institute for Animal Laboratory Research.
Specifically, pages 64 - 67 discuss the use of pound animals in research.
