Irving Berlin.

George and Ira Gershwin. I like the era they composed in and the songs they wrote. Songs like "I Got Rhythm," "Embraceable You," "The Man I Love" and "Someone to Watch Over Me," and the opera Porgy and Bess. I find the light hearted comedy of that era to be the best musicals ever. I don't like musicals that are overtly political or cynical. I like my cynicism with a little humor.
