  • Yes, very much so.
  • Yes, I do think English standards are dropping. However, our language has changed so much over the centuries that in another 100 years or so, the way we spell will be completely different to today and all punctuation will probably has vanished from the English language. • It bothers me. I think it is because teachers do not show students how to break words down into their basics. • I can tell you what most definitely makes me cringe is to hear people say "I could care less" when they mean they don't care. Of course it should be "I COULDN'T care less. Why do people do that? I have heard it on TV and the radio too. Yes, spelling bothers me and so does lack proper grammar. Hope there are no mistakes here. :-)
