No, you should never remove a mole on your own. Call another doctor or make an appointment at one.

If a mole is 'bugging' you that means it might be changing. I'm sure you realise the worry with that as you've already contacted your doctors. Even if it's not sinister you can have it removed safely at your doctor's surgery. I had one removed that way. They inject it then freeze or burn it off. However if they think it's more sinister they may well treat it differently. You should not be taking no for an answer at this stage. Go to your doctor's or phone them and firmly ensure that you get the treatment or appointment. I'm afraid you need to be a bit more pushy. People hate being pushy with the docs and they can sometimes take advantage. I'm sure it will work out ok but don't delay :)

i can think of some methods, but they are highly unadvisable. i'd be very persistant with those people at the doctor's office; sometimes they take their sweet time! if you don't have success with that, i'd look for a new doctor. find one that can get you in soon. you could go to urgent care if you are really worried.
