i can't tell you all the names, but he was loathed by his brothers because he was very favored by his parents. plus he had dreams that he was ruling over his brothers and he shared these dreams openly with them. they were very jealous of him when he got the coat of many colors, so they beat him, threw him in a ditch, and sold him to some traders for silver.

These are the names of Joseph's brother's names. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah,Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin(Joseph's only full brother), Dan, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. The brothers were jealous because Joseph was the son of Jacob or Israel's beloved wife Rachel. Jacob loved him the most and gave him a very nice garment. Joseph didn't help the situation when he told his brother's about a dream God had given him that indicated that all of his family would one day bow down at Joseph's feet.

According to Genesis 37:3-4 which says 'Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made a richly ornamented robe for him. When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him.' He people! I was one of the brothers in Joseph and the Amazing TechniColor Dream Coat. AND YES THAT IS A LEAD FOR SOME OF THOSE WHO ARE WONDERING SO I THINK I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!! The song goes like this: Ruben was the eldest of the children of Israel, with Simeon and Levi the next in line Naptali with Issicar and Asher and Dan. Zebulen and Gad took the total to nine. Jacob, Jacob and sons! Benjamin and Juda, Which leaves only one. Jacob, Jacob and sons! Joseph was Jacob's favorite son! P.S. I played Gad They were all treated badly because Joseph's mother was Jacob's favorite wife and so he only liked joseph... and Benjamin a little more than the others as well
