    The minimum is 698 kPa(100 p.s.i.). The lowest cylinder reading should not be less than 80% of the highest. Perform the compression test with the engine at normal operating temperature, spark plugs removed, and throttle wide open. Remember to disable either the ignition system or the fuel system before performing the test. Raw air/fuel mixture coming out of cylinders and a spark from a plug wire wouldn't make a good combo with you standing near.
