When I was about 6 years old I had seen my mother trimming her hair and doing things to it. SHe left the scissors on the sink and I apparently tried to trim my own pigtail a little, um.....a lot! My momm had to cut the other one off to get the sides even. I went from lovely waist long hair to almost a boy cut, though I think it got THAT short due to my mom's anger. I guess she had reason to be....stupid kid that I was.

  • In highschool I decided to get a wave. Problem is the hairdresser gave me a perm. I looked like a poodle. It took a year to grow out.

Five years ago, I tried to bleach my hair back to its natural colour. I had had it dyed dark for a long time and I decided to go back to the medium blonde colour it naturally was. I decided to do a home job. To do it, I had to first bleach my hair white-blonde then dye over it. But I got scared half way through the bleaching because my hair was going orange and I washed the bleach out. Big mistake! My hair was fluro orange for a couple of weeks, nothing would tone it down and I couldn't re-bleach it in case I damaged my hair further. Finally, I decided to dye it black again. To this day, I've never had my hair my natural colour.

Letting my dad give me a liner back in the day. At the time I thought it was straight, but when I look back now... oh hell no!

I went to the hair dresser last year to get my hair layered and I showed her where I wanted the shortest layer to be at. Well that dumbass cut it to the length that I showed her while it was wet so naturally when it dried, the shortest layer came up to my cheek. I have very curly hair mind you, so it looked short, fluffy and had to real shape to it, I looked like a lion, I wanted to massacre that woman. It was so short, I couldn't even pick it up. Luckily its grown out a lot and it actually looks nice now but it wasn't a pretty picture.

when i was in 8th grade i decided to put highlights in my hair all by my self. I only had a few dollars so i got the cheapest stuff. The dye was nowhere near my roots, and was dark orange ontop of dirty blonde. It was bad for about a month. not toooo shabby
