I always have trouble with this one: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch It's the name of a place in Wales. Imagine living there!

This is the longest word in any English dictionary. However, it was coined by Everett Smith, the President of The National Puzzlers' League, in 1935 purely for the purpose of inventing a new "longest word". I don't know what the hardest or longest is, but it did remind of a take on a quote from romeo and juliet. A Chrysanthemum by any other name would be easier to spell.
