  • Murder is never right, ever.
  • Hitman.
  • I think a hitman is ethically worse. In places where prostitution is illegal it gets a nasty name - girls are treated like slaves, can spread diseases and generally attract a criminal element. However legal prositution doesn't seems to have the same surrounding issues. I don't see anything ethically wrong with being paid for sex or paying for it unless you have vowed to remain faithful to someone else.
  • What if you were a hitman prostitute the would be the worst
  • Hitman. There is nothing ethically wrong with legal prostitution, as long as no-one is hurt.
  • Hitman. They have to kill people, there is nothing worse than that.
  • I think being a hitman would be worse, because when you're a prostitute, at least you're doing something nice for people.
  • Definitely a hitman is worse. Prostitution is basically a victimless crime that should be legalized freeing up resources for finding and prosecuting criminals that are really hurting people (ie murder, rape, burglary, etc.)
  • I think they are on an even keel if you ask me. They are both wrong. I think murder and fornication are just as bad... you can throw in thieves and liars and blasphemers into the mix... all equally bad. But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murderers and fornicators and those practicing spiritism and idolaters and all the liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death Revelation 21:8
  • A hitman.....
  • A hitman is worse. There is nothing ethically wrong with prostitution.
  • Hitman, murder is something nobody should do. Although prostitution a isn't good thing for the prostitutes. That combined with drug use, abuse, and violence does not make for a good work environment.
  • Anyone that says prostitute and is serious has some very warped values! But, there is one case where a prostitute is worse. If the prostitute has HIV, and continues his or her career, and frequently allows clients to have unprotected sex with her, and the hitman kills tyrannical dictators or is some vigilante, that seems like a case where the prostitute is worse. Generally though, the hitman, accepting money to kill in cold blood, is kind of almost the epitome of moral evil. There is no ethical problem with a prostitute anyway (except see above!), the only thing unethical is how illegalized prostitution causes these women even more suffering at the hands of clients they can't report to the police, and their pimps, and the cops.
  • Hitman.
  • Hitman.
  • Hitman, no doubt. I don't beleive it's right to kill - there are exceptions, of course - but really, I don't like murder. Sex is fine, I don't care - as long as it's between two consenting people, and neitheir of them are going to pass on some horrid diease or the woman get preagant, I've not much of a problem with prostitues. Though I must say, I personaly, look at sex as something you only ought to do if you LOVE the other person, but hey. What do I know?
  • Sin is sin.
  • According to our social values, laws, and established penalties, it is much worse to take a life than to corrupt one. A person can recover from a life of immorality and even from most social diseases, but there is some difficulty in coming back from death. It tends to be final.
  • hitman.
  • Hitman without a doubt. Personally, I would legalise prostitution. Not that I think that it is good, but I think the harm of legal, controlled, inspected prostitution is less than the harm of criminalized prostitution. Whereas hitmen are evil all through.
  • Well, people usually say that killing people is ethically wrong, so I'd probably go ahead and go with hitman. But at least they have some kind of skill. It's easy to bend over and get paid for it. Destroying a human with a popsicle stick from 30 yards away...little more difficult.
  • Hitman is much worse in my book. The prostitute isn't hurting anyone except for herself, can't say the same for a hitman.
  • hitman
  • Hitman.
  • Hitman's worse, obviously. But I think it's funny the question should even be posed. it's sorta like comparing a rapist and a bartender. But... what if there were hitstitutes? Huh?
  • Hitman definately.
  • Ah, c'mon! What's wrong with hookers?! ;-)
  • I think murder is far worse than sex.
  • I'd go with hitman because he kills anyone for money of his own free will. It takes a special kind of evil to kill for no other reason then greed. He litterly choses to kill for a living. While prostition is hardly ethical it's more because of the damage it does to the prosititute herself as well as what it exposes her to that makes it so. Plus the ripple effect of consequences to her family and that of the john. This includes legal prositition. Most prostitues do it because they have no other way to make money due to drug addiction or lack of eductaion. Most are run-aways who get into it through a pimp posing as a boyfriend or because of promises of easy money. In third world countries most are sold into it by their own families. Making it legal just make it worse because it made it easier for the illagals to hide in plain sight. On top of that STDs and abortions are on the rise where it's legal. And in all cases these women are virtually slaves. This includes those brothels everyone thinks are so safe. No matter where these women go the very nature of their job is a danger to their health. They're more likely to be assulted, robbed, raped, and murdered on the job then any woman in any other sceniorio. It's like going with a hitman every time, but never knowing if this time he's going to kill you or let you go.
  • That's an easy one, the hitman is worse. He is taking money to stop a life already in progress. Prostitution is legal in many countries. Both people are getting something out of the agreement. What does the target get out of the hitman killing him? I think a better question would be to compare which is worse, a hitmen, or an abortion doctor. Personally, I feel women have a right to choose.. But that being said, it's a closer argument than yours. ;)
  • Hitman MUCH worse. A hitman is forcing your job upon others, when you are a prostitute you 1 arn't killing people and 2 the victims of prostitution is normally yourself, rather than the dead victim of a hitman
