  • I would fight it personally. Up here it's kilometres not miles so I'm not sure how much that is over the limit here (too lazy to convert). However, where I live people usually do 5-10 over the limit without getting tickets or anything. Traffic flows. I accelerate hard sometimes, no wheel spin, just to hear the engine (unlike europe, every street in north america doesn't let you go past 2nd gear before you are speeding) since it's the only real time I can legally do it. I get lots of looks but it's not illegal, I don't speed, and I put no one in danger. I merely reach the speed everyone else does, just faster. From your description, you were doing what I do (plus speeding). I would not call it reckless, but every situation is different of course. My advice is to fight it. If you lose, you lose. But at least there's a chance you can win. Hope this helps, Good luck
  • I would fight it also. You will probably still get a speeding ticket, but you should be able to keep that off of your driving record with court supervision. You will still have to pay the speeding ticket though.
