  • The best way to lose weight is to adopt a healthy life style. Eat less starchy fatty stuff like french fries and eat more fruits/vegetables. You don't need to excersize in the true sense but if you can give up your mouse pad for an hour every three days to go for a walk, that will help. Don't eat anything deepfries, prepackaged, frozen defrost (unless it is veggies) or from fast food restaurants. Keep track of what you consume each day and watch for trends. Consult your physician or read up on the federal food guide for healthy living. And drink lots of water. Up to 10 X 8 ounce glasses a day.
  • At age 15 you may still be growing! so dont pay so much attention to the number on the scale as to BMI (body mass index) and percent body fat. A trainer at a good gym or a doctor can calculate your body fat %. The best way to be trim and fit is to exercise and eat healthy foods- whole grains (as in whole wheat not white) and high fiber fruits and vegies (apples are good). You want a healthy heart so take it out for walks! You can do lunges, squats, pushups and situps for exercise to increase your muscle mass-- the more muslces you have the more calories you burn even just sleeping. You dont need weights to do these exercises, your own body is weight enough.
  • Worry less about losing weight and more about being healthy. As far as "have no time to exercise", you are just making excuses. Of course you have time. You don't have to go to the gym or do some trendy thing. It can be something really simple. - go for a fast walk for 15 minutes (take the time from your facebook or phone chat time). See if your mom or sister wants to go (they will love that you asked). -vacuum the house, wash the car by hand, anything to get moving.
