I think it is. Though I don't think it should be.... Though I think petroleum is a close second. Makes the world go 'round... literally.
-
If we could actually live without money, I would say no it isn't he most important thing, but realistically it is.
-
Heck no. People are.
-
No, I think people and their relationships are. =)
-
Not even close. Love is the most importent thing in life. You can have all the money and power and things in the world but without love it all means nothing. Money never buys you happeniness. It only buys an illusion.
-
good health is
-
Not by a long shot. However that is what we use to get the necessities of life and without it we would have a hard time surviving. We just have to be careful not to let money become more important to you than a means to obtain the necessities.
-
nope...definately not..there are far more important things than money!
-
no. the world makes it that way. without money you have no rights.
-
I would say nowhere near it, even though the modern western world pretty much worships it. Realistically, the only reason we have money is so that we can buy stuff... Screw the money, just give me the stuff and I'll be happy! Seriously, though, there are many more important things than money - about six billion of them at this point in time (and that's just counting people). Even on a personal level: * Can you put a price on your relationships? * Can you put a price on your physical health? * Can you put a price on your mental health? * Can you put a price on your knowledge/understanding? * Can you put a price on your experiences? * Can you put a price on your life??? If our society was not so dependent (to the point of worship) on money, we could almost live without it. Think about what people did before money eventuated. We can live without money. What's really important is ourselves and each other. As an example (just an example) take a look in the bible at the original church (in Acts). It says that the people were of one accord, fellowshipped together and shared and encouraged with each other, and nobody considered their property their own - instead they sold their property as needed and brought the money to look after those who were in need. I think (religion aside) that is a perfect example of humanity working as it should. No. Money is not the most important thing in the world.
-
No, although it is an extremely handy tool!
-
Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is. Fortunately, I love money.
-
no
-
yes, for me money is the most important thing in the world, i dont know why some people say that love is the most important thing its not like youll live or eat off of love
-
no money cant buy you love or life when ill and die and happiness.
-
NO! Not by a long shot!
-
Hell no!! But unfortunatly its nessesary.
-
yup
-
Yes; anybody who tells you otherwise is not hungry.
-
Negative. Love and respect come first. Money comes second. Nice if you could find a person that has love and respect and loaded with money, wouldn't it?
-
If it is, my own life has largely been a waste of time and effort, not to mention bodyparts and blood.
-
No, absolutely not. Love and happiness are the most important things in life. Money cannot buy either.
-
No it is not it just seems to be when we do not have it
-
There are more important things, but money makes it possible to enjoy or have them.
-
yes it is.
-
No
-
It may or may not be .... BUT it is a necessity for us to survive in THIS day and age ....
-
Money isn't. Love is.
-
It sure helps. :)
-
No, I place very little value on it. I work, pay my bills, take the family on vacation, treat myself and my family on a regular basis. Money is a tool to achieve something with. Happiness is much more important than money.
-
Yes if I could be displaced from greed, I am invincible
-
of course not, but who can deny that unfortunately money allows you the freedom to enjoy the things that are most important!
-
It's just one of the things you need in life.
-
Money is pretty important to provide what we need. Hoarding money is unnecessary.
