Start looking for it and think to yourself "If I were a voice, where would I hide?"

This happened to me a few weeks ago when I had a cold!

Try to not talk. Whisper as much as possible. Drink lots of water and/or tea to keep your vocal chords hydrated. Lots of sleep and rest, let time go by.

Unless you did alot of shouting or yelling, there is no logical reason for you to use your voice. You don't have to feel ill to lose it. It's something that can get much worse if not diagnosed and treated by a doctor, preferably an ear, nose and throat doctor.

Trying home remedies when you don't know what you have or do not have and why is very dangerous, especially when you are messing around with something as important as your voice.

See a doctor/go to a clinic. Find out for sure what is causing it and then you can treat it however the doctor and you decide is best.

A shot of whiskey and some honey. That was my grandmother's cure.
