Not from horror movies, but from violent movies.

Occasionally. One that I can remember is Jeepers Creepers. Scared the crap out of me.

The horror genre is my favorite and the only time I can remember a nightmare was when I was around 10 years old. I saw "House of Dark Shadows", (it was a movie about the t.v. show), and I dreamed about Barnabas biting Carolyn over and over and over etc. That was the only time ANY horror movie has caused me any nightmares.

Nope. My husband and I like to watch them because we find them so funny. I can't think of a movie we've ever seen that was truly scary.

I cant honestly think of the last movie that actually scared me. Maybe Pet Semetary when i was like 6. I guess, no because even if i dream about the movie that night, it didnt scare me in the first place.

I get dreams about characters, places or events and situations, obviously usually altered, from all the horror movies I always watch. But none of them are nightmares, though they used to be when I was little. By now, my nightmares transcend the generic horror movie in sheer terror and disturbing matter... >_>

I used to love horror movies and then I had kids. I never realy got nightmares till then, but only from the blood and guts kind. And as time goes on it's gotten to the point I can't even watch those because I get so queasy just off the sounds. And the visuals are too much especially if it's a kid. The last blood and guts horror movie I watch all the way through was "House of a 1,000 Corpses" and I thought it was a rip off of the Texas Chain Saw. And not a very good one. Now the suspense kind I can still handle like the "Bell Witch". And they don't give me nightmares.

i think the last time i had a nightmare from a horror movie was when i was like 3 and i watched "IT" that clown scared the shit out of me.

Other than that i DREAM about zombies all the time but no nightmares.

I laugh at ALOT of them though like The Grudge...i couldnt get over how much they looked like crackheads...ecspecially at the end...with the lighter!!!

Nope. Have dreamt about them afterward and sometimes the dreams are a bit scary or disturbing but I'd not call them nightmares by any stretch of the imagination...

"Cloverfield" gave me nightmares three nights in a row after seeing it

but 1968 " Night of the Living Dead" has given me more nightmares than any other movie -- about 6 or 7 a year. Maybe more. :)
