  • Have you tried wiping it?
  • I really can't tell if this is a serious question or not but just in case it is I can tell you I have had the same problem occasionally. I have found that a product called Anusol takes care of the problem very well. It's made for hemorrhoids but you don't have to have them to use it. It also drives my wife crazy that I call it Anus Oil instead of Anusol. She knows I am just joking but she corrects me every time.
  • Scrub it with some soap and water. Then put some moisturizing lotion on it. Does your anus itch or your butt cheeks?
  • Soap and water couldn't hurt.
  • i don't know about the soap, but the water may prove useful. i swear last night, my butt was so bothered that i literally saw flames shooting out of it.
  • There are alot of possibilities, from not wipng well to psoriasis. Do you have a really sweaty butt? That seems to be the most common cause.
  • Perhaps you push to hard when taking a dump and splash used toilet water all over it.
  • Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinworm But yeah, aside from the possibility of rectal parasites I'd reccomend washing the butt well while bathing and wearing clean unerwear daily.
  • Looks like a female asked this question. I am female and have had a yeast infection for a couple of weeks. Now my rectum is itching. I wonder if yeast can move to that spot. Anyone know?
  • my answer:Well it is what causes the butt itch. Butt grease released by the butt gland can build up and cause a rash. I recommend harvesting the butt grease at least 1 time a day. One can do this by using a gauz type material and use it like a floss. The gauz will collect the butt grease and supply a bit of a nice scratching sensation. This can also be done with nut cheese.
  • The medical term is: Monkey Butt. You might hear it called Baboon Ass. It means you need to keep your buttcrack from retaining all that sweat. Try keeping a piece of cloth or maybe a super absorbent paper-towel in between the cheeks. Also a handfull of baby powder and you should feel all fresh for the rest of the day. Good luck.
  • Eww, theres a fungus among us.... Lotramine that ass!
  • When I stop laughing I'll try to comment on how my dog scratches his on the carpet.
  • You might have worms.
  • Perhaps you are not wiping yourself vigorously enough after a number two. A bidet may be in your future ...
  • You might have a ring-wirm or something. Maybe you have a hemorroid or something....Or it could be you just need to clean your dirty ass. :)
  • Stop sitting on ant hills. I bet that solves the problem. ;) Seriously..the "butt" has more than one spot. No way of telling if you meant the rectum, cheeks or somewhere in between. Stay off those ant hills though. Ants in your pants will certainly cause itching. ;) If you suspect a fungus use some athletes foot cream..that has a fungicide in it.
  • My filthy brother had the same problem.....wash entire body thoroughly every 2 days instead of once a week.......PROBLEM SOLVED. Anusol helps but you won't need it if you WAAAASH
  • There are a lot of possible reasons, but fungus seems unlikely to me, though it's not impossible. If your rectum is itching, it could be pinworms, but that's more likely if you're a child. If you're an adult it's more likely that you have hemorrhoids, in which case you can get over-the-counter remedies from suppositories to creams. Or you might have a minor anal fissure. A cortisone-type cream like anusol would help either of those problems. I also recommend--to just about anyone, but especially someone with hemorrhoids or anal fissures--Tuck's medicated wipes. It's just witch hazel on a butt wipe, basically, but it's very soothing. I use it every day. Or, as someone else mentioned, perhaps you're just not keeping things clean enough back there. This will sound gross, but it's true. If you shower in the morning after your "morning toast" (a #2), your butt is clean, but it might not stay clean all day. Most people, if they wiped their butts later in the day, would be surprised to notice that the paper doesn't come up clean. So sometimes you might need to go into a bathroom stall (especially if you've had gas!) to do a little mid-day wiping. Sorry to be so blunt!
  • Did you wipe good?
  • I heard once that humans also might have worms that make your butt itch. But you might have to get checked and see if you do or you dont.
  • If you don't know, how am I going to know? Get an examination. You may have hemmorohoids.
  • That is a problem.
  • It's probably not fungus. I wouldn't worry about it, it's probably just a scorpion looking for a dark and warm place to sleep. :)
  • Scrub your bum really well.
