First of all, try to store it indoors if you can. If not, get a good car cover for it. Change the oil immediately before you store it. Top off the gas tank and all fluids. Add the appropriate amount of fuel stabilizer (Sta-bil or similar) to the fuel. Put the car up on jack stands to avoid flat-spotting the tires. Disconnect the battery. If you can, put a 'trickle charger' on the battery to keep it in good condition. Put some dessicant (Damp-Rid or similar) in the interior to prevent mold/mildew. If you can, disable the ignition/fuel injection. Remove the spark plugs. Put a teaspoon or so of motor oil (or 'top cylinder lubricant') in each cylinder. Reinstall spark plugs. Crank the engine over briefly. Do all of the above and you should have no problems. Here are some more tips: http://www.buyclassiccars.com/storagetips.asp
