  • Go over there and telll them its not right, you should not have to put up with that
  • It sounds like she did you a favor... Her underlying motivation is the important thing. I'm willing to bet she didn't know it was your cat. I can't envision an old lady expending the energy to capture your cat and pay to have it done, just to get your goat. No one should be allowing their pets to breed uncontrolled. A fertile cat should not be allowed to roam outside - EVER! If she's a pet, she should be neutered. If you're feuding with the old lady, then her behavior was inappropriate, but she did you favor: I'm willing to bet that she had the cat neutered as well. Does your cat wear a collar and tags? If not, my advice is to go next door and offer to pay the vet bill. Then, go buy a collar and tag for your cat. There are many organizations who capture free-roaming/feral cats, have them neutered, and release them. There are so many uncontrolled pets breeding in the urban wilds. It was quite possibly a matter of time before SOMEONE captured your cat and had her fixed. If you are trying to be a breeder, the correct way is NOT to allow your cat to roam and get pregnant as a matter of "nature" - that's a way to get a sick Queen.
  • why would she do that i think you should take some sort of action and find out why she did this because she has no right to practically steal your cat and do that.
  • That is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. I wouldn't do anything, unless you are upset about it. In which case I would take legal action. But I would keep my kids away from her.
  • Your neighbour has no right to kill your cats babies and prevent your cat from having any more kittens and you dont have to give a s*** about how old she is you could sue her for violation to property
  • Just sit back and smile. Some humans are evil regardless of age.
  • Did you ever figure anything out about what to do about your neighbor? Just wondering what ended up happening? My neighbor just did the same thing to my 8 year old son's cat. She is 4 and has only had 2 litters. She is an inside cat and she ended up getting out. This lady knew she was our cat though because we gave her two of her kittens from her litter a couple of months ago. I was just need to see what I can do because I am furios and she had no right to do this.
  • Wow. You could sue her... But that really wouldnt be the way to go... I would just smile, wave...and during conversation... "Ya know, you aborted my kittens...do you feel like you have done anything wrong? Do you feel regret. Do you feel as if youve invaded somebodys elses space...and who gives you the right. Im not mad, but you need to know...you cannot do that. And never talk to her again.
