Help answer this question below.

If a batter swings at a pitch and misses and is hit by the ball, is it a strike, or is considered being hit by a pitch? Example: Batter leans over the plate to bunt, misses and is hit by the ball.

    If the batter swings at the pitch or the umpire deems the ball was in the strike zone when it hit the batter then the correct call is:
    1) Time!!!
    2) Strike!
    3) All runners return to their "Time of Pitch" base.
    4) Play Ball!
