I assume you mean how long do you have to file a claim.. Depends on what state. I dont think there is officially an acutal statue, but generally its a year. The sooner the better as I always say, looks better on everyones part. The longer you wait the more suspicous it looks. Sorry for the spelling errors, but im at work, and limited on time.

It does depend on the state, most states have a 2 year bodily injury statute, and a 3 year property damage statute. You also usually have approximately 6 years to file a comprehensive claim (rocks, storm, animal hits)...and I believe 3-4 years for a collision claim. Again it does depend on the state.
