I suggest you get onto ulcer medication. No alcohol intake period....alcohol causes flare ups. There used to be a medication called Tagamet which was for treatment of ulcers and it worked great. Not sure what is out there now, but see a doctor about prescription.

Check with your doctor! If you actually have ulcers you should be on antibiotics, as ulcers are caused by a simple bacteria and can be cured/healed. If you don't have ulcers but are experiencing serious heartburn, do everything you can to keep it from flaring up, because eventually the stomach acids backing into your esophagus can burn the tissues such that it causes a pre-cancerous condition that could lead to cancer of the esophagus.

GO to the doctor and he will give you a medicine that wil l kill the bacteria or virus causing it. It's not a digestive problem. The treatment really works and is quick. Try it, you won't be sorry!
