Ok, so last Saturday I went to this amazing male strip club in NYC and I paid one of the strippers $20 for a private dance. It ended in less than 5 minutes. Is this how it usually goes or he just found me unattractive?

That's the going rate honey. 5 minutes ain't too bad. It has nothing to do with how you look. It's just a business. I did it for 7 years.

Your lucky you got 5 min. usually its like 2-3 minutes for $20 bucks. It there job they dont look at you and say oh this ones ugly or this is one hot person. NO its not personal for them. Just a job. .

OK i see you went to a club, so your question is about that. No 5 in is pretty standard for a private dance/lapdance at a club. I am a male stripper in NJ.

- Im not sure why this question even needs to be asked, but I will answer it. I dont mind if women see me as a sexual object as you put it, it comes with the job description. However, alot of the time male strippers are just entertainment. In other words, women see watching a male stripper as more of a funny, amusing type of thing, where men take seeing women strippers as more sexual, erotic. Its just the nature of the genders.

- I would have to disagree with you on this one. I certainly don't see male strippers as funny or amusing. I do think of them on a more sexual, erotic way. I mean, you guys ARE sexy! On the other hand, I don't see male strippers, or any strippers for that matter, as sexual objects. You are human beings just like everybody else who just happen to use your bodies as a means of work. In other words, stripping is a job like any other.

- Well I just meant some of the time, not all the time. You are right, alot of women do see it as a sexual and erotic watching us...but others do it just for the entertainment factor. I would say its a pretty even spilt. Although some of the women that seem to just be amused probably really are turned on as well and just dont show it as much. Either way, I dont mind. Like you said its just a job....

It is all about the money, honey...don't look for ideal mates in strip joints...you could of had 5 more minutes for another $20...its just not worth it...strippers are actors who take their clothes off....ever see a hideous peron in a strip joint that the strippers cling to all night, that hideous person is either, the owner of the joint, the local drug dealer, or the customer who is really generous with deep pockets...

Doesn't the private dance time last the length of one song? I haven't been to a strip club ( last guys I saw were the Chippendales in CA when that was the rage, and they don't really strip or give private dances.. LOL ) but from the guys I have talked to, it's usually the length of a song...and that will be $20...Please drive through!

that's pretty cheap! here in my country, entrance to the club (if i convert it) is $30 and then a dance is about $35 for 3 songs.

Yes, that's usually how it goes. I'm a female stripper and our dances usually last about 3.5 minutes (or basically one song). You should NOT think that it was you!
