Im a lesbian,and i want to know what you people out there think of lesbians?

My mom is a lesbian. I've got lesbian relatives too.

Their sexuality doesn't affect me, nor should it. They're still family.

Lesbian simply is a reference to a sexual orientation . It tells nothing of who you are.

I'm lesbian, too. I believe that, in this generation, most teens believe to explore their sexual orientation beyond the point of just "explore," instead simply "excavate." nothing different really. knew a lady who was practically a man in stature dress mannerisms, and she was still a great person. i've also known the girls you can't tell are lesbians.
doesn't really make a difference to me. at least one of my best friends is bisexual and i love her to death like a sister

i think that it's wrong to tell people who they should love.
actually, my cousin told me she was bi and she was so scared to tell me. and when she did, i was like "okay, dude it's just like your hair color; no biggie to me" and she was in shock. but basically i love everyone who has a good heart, no matter what gender they are attracted to. i think thats how the world should be. and the stupid laws against gay marriage, thats dumb too. i just sometimes think what would all the homophobes do if girl/girl and boy/boy relationships were the regular thing and girl/boy relationships were singled out and bashed on. sorry for the long rant, it's a really big issue to me. :D i could go on forever about it. haha.

I've got nothing against individuals, but truthfully, years of being treated like I was diseased and a pariah for being bisexual by many of the lesbians I've encountered has left me distrustful of most of them. I only date other bisexual women now, out of a desire to not be rejected and ostracized because I also like men.

I know it's not right, or fair, but I have this strange need to spare myself pain after being burned one too many times.

I like lesbians. They usually have a good sense of humor which gets them extra points in my book. One think I don't like about lesbians is that, as a man, it takes quite a bit of extra effort for me to gain their trust.

Peoples sexual preference is not my concern. It would not influence my feelings towards a person in any way . However I do struggle with the man haters....I think hey you are hating me just for the way I am wired.......I cant help being attracted to women I was born that way just like you. By hating me you are turning yourself into everything you despise.

Funny you ask that. I was walking to my appartment today, after I had done my grocery shopping. I believe two women are living together in my neighborhood. I thought to myself how I would refer to them if I talked about them. I would not call them lesbians that is odd. I mean I would not say 'there lives a straight couple across the hall' either. I was thinking about that because I have two mothers myself. I never refer to them as being lesbians. They are not different from humanbeings or something. To me they are just the same as everyone else. Anyone could love another humanbeing. Does not matter what gender they are.

I'm Italian so whats the point in asking this question? There are folks who love, hate, could careless about what sexual preference you are. You're a person no greater or lesser then me..........thats what I think about straights, gays and lesbians until that is you give me reason not to trust. How about this marvel idea just be a person not labeling yourself a damn thing........how about we just like each other based on our being human beings!

One of my best girlfriends is a lesbian. Like any group of people, some are cool and others are not. I have no problem with people because they are gay. Its who they are that counts.
