  • I guess that depends on what you consider good weather. Personally, I like the weather here in the South. It's ever changing and that's what I like.
  • Hawaii ...I Love it, however I would not want to live there. I need the seasons.
  • The best weather in the world is located in Central Africa, NW-Australia and in the Lake Chapala area in the Highlands of Mexico; Of these 3 location the most developed is the last, and now is the shelter of the biggest American and Canadian Colonies abroad, specially in and around Ajijic.
  • San Diego or any tropical island.
  • There is not a secret any more, the area of Lake Chapala in Mexico has the best long term weather world-wide. There are thousands of Americans and Canadians living in and around Ajijic. • Yuma,Arizona! The sunniest place in the world, according to the Guiness Book of World Records.
  • 1) Over the clouds... 2) " Is there such a thing as the best climate in the world? That question, recently posed by the Post-Gazette to travel and weather experts, met with some serious head-scratching. Geoff Cornish, a meteorologist with Penn State University's Department of Meteorology, said there have been no formal studies of "best" versus "worst" climate. And while "great climate" might conjure up images of weather in the mid-70s, plenty of sunshine and enough rainfall to sustain flora and fauna, for other travelers, a great climate might also mean 15 inches of new snow to ski on. "Personally, climate is a very subjective thing," said Mr. Cornish. "Whether a climate is best or worst all depends on what you like. A lot of people would say Southern California has the best climate, because of all the sunshine and low humidity, but I'd be bored out there. Being a meteorologist, I thrive on severe weather or bad weather. That's a great climate to me."" 3) "Nonetheless, an Internet search using the words "best climate in the world" yielded five places vying for that title -- for marketing purposes, if nothing else. Good-weather junkies, take your pick: [...] - Atlixco, Mexico - The Canary Islands - Costa Rica - Faulconbridge, Australia - Redwood City, Calif." "Many places claim to have the world's best climate. We claim to be recognised by the World Meteorological Organisation as having the world's most equitable climate. The author has no authoritative confirmation, as yet. However, former Member of Parliament, Mr Alasdair Webster, told the author that he attended a conference in the USA, where a WMO scientist was speaking. The scientist was asked where the world's best climate is. He replied, in effect, "You won't have heard of it, but there's a village called Faulconbridge, in the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney, Australia." Later, he was surprised when Webster introduced himself as a local resident." Source and further information: http://www.infobluemountains.net.au/weather/best.htm
  • Santa Clara California lots of sunshine it never rains Late may till mid November only gets real hot a few days a year and everything grows great here in what used to be known as orchard valley before it became Silicon Valley. I've been a lot of different places and nowhere has matched the weather of Santa Clara County. Very mild and about 15 inches of annual rainfall.
  • For me it would be somewhere where a range of weather could be experienced, where it never got too hot nor too cold. It would almost certainly have to be an island. Long periods of burning sun and cloudless skies would deny me the excitement of occasional summer storms, and long period of rain or drizzle would be unacceptable too. The Scillies come to mind, spring is early, winter is delayed; at the height of summer it is never too hot because there are the pleasant sea breezes, and in the winter it is almost unknown for the temperature to fall below zero centigrade. There you are always within a walk of the sea, too. But give me an island every time.
  • Bakersfield,ca hot and sunny and no rain. :)
  • Just south of San Francisco. San Mateo County or Santa Clara County. September is the hottest month with average highs of 75 and lows of 55. December is the coldest month with average highs of 60 and lows of 48. You get about 20 inches of rain the entire year. 12 of which is between December and February. 300 days of sun a year, and that refreshing early morning mist almost all year.
  • Right here in Crieff, Scotland, lovely rain and the night is cold :)
  • I think Aruba has the best weather in the world. It is consistently between 82-85. It's out of the hurricane belt. The last time I was there, I felt a fine mist hit my face while laying on the beach. I opened my eyes and said "What was that?" and the person next to me said "That was an Aruban thunderstorm."
  • its a personal preference. some love the cold, some love the desert, some love the seasons. I now prefer warmer weather to cold and don't mind less seasonal variation. I live in the deep south, can deal with humid hot summers in exchange for pleasant late fall, winter and early spring.
