If it's required for your desired job, definitely (teaching at the college level for instance). If it is attached to a definite pay increase, then probably (grade school/high school teaching). If on average it's associated with substantially higher salaries (MBA) then probably. There are some subjects that can be studied EITHER as undergraduate or graduate education, such as Architecture. In this case, there is no advantage to pursuing separate bachelor's and master's degrees, since the B.Arch. and M.Arch. first professional degrees are considered equivalent.

It depends on what the degree is in. Things like Philosophy and computer science are probably not worth it. However, a master's degree in biology, chemistry and other things are worth it since you can get a great job in those fields.

Having a Master's Degree is definitely worth it. Depending on your job, it's a way to make more money. You can learn more about your profession and put it to great use. It's also another great way to get a fresh start on a new career.

Yes- absolutely. In my field, having a masters increases pay by about 35% easily. And if you have a BA- you're almost there- so why not?

No, I've never been to college or even graduated high school and I'm living just fine. My house is falling apart but my grandmother is going to pass soon and I'm on her will with big bucks, so I think I'll be just fine. So will you.

It depends on what career you want to go into, what sector you want to go into, and what you want out of it.

I did mine for interest, and just to get as far with education as I could - which is just as well because a Masters degree is not going to get me and jobs I would not have got if I just had a bachelors.
