  • If you obey the speed limit, count on a 2 hour trip. I would suggest coming over the GWB to the Palisades Parkway North to Route 6 to Route 17 to your designated exit in Sullivan county. It's a pretty drive. Be sure to stop at the "tourist trap" called Woodbury Common in Harriman, it's a bunch of outlet stores that are overpriced.
  • well put it this way. it takes about 5 1/2 hours from nyc to plattsburgh, new york. albany is 3hours and the beginning of the catskills is roughly 1 1/2 hours.
  • I live in Catskill and I go to visit my mom in brooklyn and it takes me 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours depending on the traffic
