  • Not a damn thing. I stay out of the place. It's noisy, expensive and congested. It's not the crime capital of the world but I prefer not to go there unless it's absolutely necessary.
  • *shrug* It's awesome. It's really alive and busy. You'll never be bored there. It's culturally amazing and the biggest melting pot you're likely to ever see. Great food, interesting people, stunning scenery... There isn't really anything I DON'T like about it.
  • I live like 1 1/2 hrs. away, I hate it its ugly eveywhere, too many people, and I can feel the difference in the air, like on long Island the air is cleaner than NYC, It is harder to breath during the summer for some reason! Trust me if you live far away from it and want to see NYC trust me your not missing anything, unless you want to see crap all over the place
  • I love NYC. It has its issues like any big city, but compared to other cities that are smaller than NY- it fares pretty well. There is so much to do in the city. I live about an hour and a half away, and I go several times a year. And I am always experiencing something new and different! If you do research and go with a plan, you can have a great time in NY without spending a huge fortune. You can go to the Central Park Zoo, and The Met for under $20. Theres more too. If planning a trip visit: http://www.centralpark.com/
  • NYC is one of the great commercial/financial cities of the world. It has just about everything, including every kind of ethnicity and ethnic food you can think of. You can buy just about anything there. The subway system is rather safe and it makes it easy to get around. There are also zoos, botanical gardens, all kinds of schools, and a whole range of entertainment. NYC is definitely the big leagues.
  • New York City is liberal, full of diversity, people are more tolerant of creativity and cultural differences, there is always something to do - and sometimes it's free, lots of people, great baseball teams, ellis island and the statue of liberty (if you're patriotic), opportunities to be successful are ever present, Times Square (nuff said), a rich history and beautiful people! Whaddaya tawkin bout, what's so great about new yawk?? Are ya kiddin??
  • I'd say King Kong climbing the Empire State Building.
