  • The meaning of most East Asian names come from the particles used when forming them in their native writing system. With that said, most of the Korean "surnames" you have posted have actually been parts of first names. The best way to answer any of these first names with an origin/meaning, is to compared the hanja (Korean symbol) with the full first name (typically in two parts, such as Seong-hee). One of the best ways to find out, is to find a native speaker and show them when asking, too.
