  • Nobody has ever done more, the Ramirez-Drew-Lowell-Varitek effort last night for Boston tied the record; this was the fifth time it has happened according to the list at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/history/rare_feats/index.jsp?feature=four_straight_homers. The other teams to do it were the Braves (1961), Indians (1963), Twins (1964) and Dodgers (2006).

Interestingly, it is the 2nd time that JD Drew has been involved in such a feat, having hit the 2nd home run of the Dodger's 1-2-3-4 in the 9th inning of a game with the Padres last year.
