I will be competely indifferent. The only pro sport I watch or care about is NFL football.

Coming from Oz, I won't know and won't care! Don't even know who they are...

    Baseball, yeah?

Gilly breaking the record for fastest 100 in a Test, now that'd be different!

  • I will be pretty indifferent to be honest. Leaving aside the controversy over performance-enhancing drugs, he has such an obnoxious personality according to nearly everyone who has ever met him; yeah, he is a great hitter and always has been even before taking (or not taking) anything, but he is not the kind of man you want at the pinnacle of the game, as an ambassador for the game, and so to see him sitting at the top of the tree ahead of all the other players who were not only great hitters but great role models for their generation like Hank Aaron was, that wouldn't sit too well with me. I am hoping for A-Rod to keep up his hot streak beyond April and set up a chase for Bonds single season HR record of 73, that would distract from Barry's glory and would p*** him off no end!!!

Could care less. Records mean nothing when artifically induced in any sport. We should have old records and seperate set of enhanced records. There is no comparison.

Boo! I don't know a lot about baseball, but I really don't feel that Barry Bonds is HALF the baseball player that Hank Aaron was. I don't like him, and I wish that they would just get rid of him. I've seen him play, and he just stands around in the field, doesn't run for anything, and basically survives off the fact that he can hit the ball hard. He isn't a team player, and I think that his home runs are a big bunch of BS. I wish he wasn't on the Giants, I'd go see the games a lot more often.

I already got the chance to boo at Barry Bonda early in July in Milwaukee. It was the loudest collective boo I have ever heard at a ball game. Barry Bonds was pinch-hitting and the booing noise was LOUD. To answer your question, I will probably boo again.

I'll be indifferent but part of me will feel like booing. Enhanced training, nutrition and equipment aside, there's a mounting pile of evidence suggesting Bonds created an edge for himself by using steroids. A record means nothing if there's no integrity behind it. Somewhere, he misplaced his love of the game and decided it was all about numbers.
