  • You may need to provide more info, like make, model, and year of your car. Fuel injector, or carburetor? Etc. My two experiences with that have been 1) the carburetor (it needed to be adjusted), and 2) a slightly bent valve stem. It could be either of these or one of many other things. I know that this isn't extremely helpful, but I'll look around for more answers. If you get the repair manual for that particular vehicle (found at most car parts stores), it may have a section that lists problems and common causes. Good luck.
  • How old is your car? make and model? Sounds like a fuel pump, but it could also many other problems. More info. needed.
