I have two boys and I always have my boys go barefoot. My dad grew up going barefoot everywhere, and I want the same for my boys. I wear sandals myself, and I'd want to put sandals on a girl, but I'd never put sandals on a boy. A girl needs something on her feet to keep them soft and nice, but a boy should just go barefoot.
