Such are the perils of Internet dating (or any other kind of dating for that matter)...
You broke it off because you didn't want to compete for her affections with another person. That has not changed.
You are not responsible for how she feels about this. She decided to 'comparison shop' and you were not comfortable with that. You have that right.
The fact that she feels bad about her decision does not change the facts of the matter.
I'd recommend moving on. Staying involved in this situation will only lead to more heartache.
