Do you ever wonder where all the stuff we lose goes and how do we get there to retrieve it?

i believe it does not go anywhere. we just dont see it anymore, so we cant find it.

Once, I saw a funny cartoon where the charater ws doing his laundry at the laundromat and he noticed that an article of clothing was missing, climbed into the washer/dryer, and found that it opened up into this whole factory designed to destroy stolen socks and whatnot. It was really hilarious!! I think some things are lost in places you don't often look, like behind furniture or in boxes you have forgotten. But some things in my life I swear have just upped and disappeared, and even when I move I have not found them. Perhaps the Borrowers get them - remember that book and movie?

I have a theory that things we are looking for sometimes go to a differnt diminsion. I am still trying to figure out how to get there.

What i do is run a length of thread through every posession i have in the house so if i lose something i follow the thread all the way around till i find it.

I'm thinking little gnomes. In fact, I'm almost sure I hear them snickering when I'm frantically looking for my keys...
