    i think the people in charge wanr a good show and having it in a circle and having the people run around in a circle would make their head spin nad both of them would become dizzy and one of them would fall down and then that would mean the show wasnt as good as!~!!

    A ring is supposively round, but I guess it was made a square because, then there is more space for fighting. The rubber rope is bet at shooting one's body at another. Tricks are done easier because there are edges and all that.
