Though things are changing fast, we are still blessed with Southern Small town charm. People still wave and greet you even if they don't know you. And we still do things pretty simply (which is not something I see in our future) We still gather for Sunday suppers and have picnics on the docks overlooking the water. Some people still feel safe leaving the doors unlocked at night (I am not one of those people however).

My hometown was small, friendly, everyone knew each other - good morning was so pleasing to hear and say. We had dinners at the neighbors, enjoyed playing outdoors without locking the doors or having to peek outside every minute just to make sure the kids were ok...My hometown...though it still stands today, the ways of the people have most certainly chainged...God I miss those days!!! Guess the best thing way back then was the yearly firmans carnival...Gee...I heard they don't even do that anymore :-(

My Hometown is Iowa City, Iowa....I love the Old Capital building and the entire University of Iowa campus! The cultural events in Iowa City due to the college is so wonderful! And the diverse population again due to the college made me a more rounded person and a very liberal person which has made my life more enjoyable I feel!

It's called Fruitland. And my grandparents were some of the first inhabitants. It feels so much like I belong there for that reason.It's very small and I love that.

The city has an unlimeted speed zone for jet boats on our lake.

My hometown isn't all that great. The only thing around is a bowling alley and 20 million churches. But I wish i could live in Flagstaff AZ it is soo pretty there and almost perfect weather. And of course lots of shopping =]
