    Harrisonville played a major role in the Kansas-Missouri Border Wars during the Civil War. This was also the place where Jesse James (outlaw)Jesse James's relatives spent a lot of time.
    Harrisonville High Schools football team has won three out of the last four class 3A state championships. Under the greatest coach Missouri has seen (Coach Bouchard) the Wildcats have amassed a 61-6 record. Soon this team will go down as one of the greatest dynasties in Missouri's football history.
